Position: Ethics Specialist
Adrian has a background in social sciences and Science, Technology and Society Studies (STS). He is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Maastricht University, where he studied European Studies on Science, Technology and Society.
His primary research is in AI ethics, with a particular interest in trustworthy AI. Rather than approaching trustworthiness solely as a matter of technical compliance with ethical principles, he examines how AI practitioners themselves perceive, interpret, and navigate ethical challenges in their everyday work and how these insights can improve tools and support mechanisms for developing trustworthy AI systems.
