Ľuboš Kriš

Ľuboš’s main focus in KInIT is in the integration of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and his evaluation, Audio tasks, and Agentic Systems. In the domain of RAG, Ľuboš focuses on the end-to-end optimization of knowledge-retrieval systems, covering vector database indexing, chunking algorithms, various re-ranking strategies, and context-window engineering. Within the audio sphere, it addresses challenges of background noise and developing targeted fine-tuning strategies using specific noise profiles to enhance model resilience. In the field of agent-based systems, he focuses on the development and deployment of autonomous artificial intelligence agents capable of goal-oriented behavior, tool manipulation, and the execution of complex, multi-phase workflows

He holds a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science from Comenius University in Bratislava. This interdisciplinary background combines artificial intelligence and computational linguistics. a focus reflected in the master’s thesis about cognitive plausibility.
