Research Group
Jakub has a background in machine learning and computer vision. He studied Computer Science at Charles University Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, where he completed both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
After graduation, he worked in Prague on the CitySense parking monitoring system, which is currently deployed in cities including Prague and Bratislava. His work focused on training computer vision models and developing system components in C++. He spent three years working on the project and related technologies.
Currently, he works as a research engineer at KInIT. His work combines applied research on large language models with practical AI engineering. He has contributed to the development of Telescope, a platform for monitoring social media content, and participated in several HOPERO projects focused on helping Slovak companies integrate AI solutions into their products and services.
