KInIT earns the prestigious HRS4R Award

On January 7th, the European Commission officially awarded KInIT the prestigious “HR Strategy For Researchers Award” (HRS4R). This recognition positions KInIT among an elite group of research institutions. It is one of only eight in Slovakia to achieve this milestone and one of the few private research organisations in the post-communist region to hold this distinction.

The HRS4R Award highlights organisations that demonstrate their commitment to creating a stimulating and supportive environment for researchers. The European Commission grants this recognition to institutions that implement the principles outlined in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. This framework emphasises the importance of fair recruitment practices, ethical research, and fostering the career development of researchers across disciplines.

KInIT’s achievement underscores its dedication to promoting excellence in research while aligning with international standards. Over the years, the institute has grown into a hub for top talent and HRS4R is further proof of this development. By earning the HRS4R Award, KInIT not only bolsters its credibility on a European scale but also strengthens its appeal to world-class researchers seeking new research opportunities in a thriving and supportive environment.

Receiving this recognition is a significant step forward for KInIT in contributing to Slovakia’s reputation as a competitive player in European research and innovation. It highlights KInIT’s strong commitment to research integrity and continuous improvement in creating an inclusive and innovative environment for its research community.

“We believe it is also a great achievement for Slovak research. We are the first private research company to receive this award in Slovakia and one of the very few in the region of post-communist countries. As an employer, it will also help us to attract more international researchers and other specialists and talents. For us as an institute, but also for Slovak research in AI, it means that we can provide excellent results in everything we do. We believe this is another way to achieve our goals and what we founded KInIT for.”
