KInIT at CitaKon 2023

This year’s CitaKon will take place on Wednesday, 29 March 2023 at 9:00 am at the Mendel University in Brno. 

The conference is organized by Citace.com and focuses primarily on citing and working with references. Besides the topics oriented on information literacy, you can also expect presentations on media literacy, cyber security and misinformation.

You can look forward to many interesting speakers, including our researcher Andrea Hrčková, who will present her work on disinformation and fact-checkers within the CEDMO project. 

In her presentation, she will discuss ways in which the humanities and social sciences can be involved in AI research. Andrea will talk about her experience with these topics:  

  • Characterisation of misinformation
  • User studies
  • Preparation of datasets and organization of information for tools using artificial intelligence
