Hack Science: AI for a Sustainable Future
We’re inviting secondary schools across Slovakia to take part in Hack Science: AI for a Sustainable Future, starting with an online webinar on October 16th. The project gives students a chance to learn about AI and sustainability through a creative challenge: designing a digital educational game that could later be used in other schools.
Our CEO Mária Bieliková will be among the webinar speakers, alongside Slovak scientist and project lead Barbora Bruant Gulejová and other experts from research and industry. Students will hear from the speakers and receive the assignment they will work on together in their classrooms.
What happens after the webinar?
Between October 16th and November 16th, students will work in teams of four on their game ideas. Teachers will receive a guide to help them run the activity in class.
The five best teams will meet at Orange Digital Center in Bratislava on 4 December 2026, from 9:00 to 17:00, for a full-day hackathon. There, they will work with mentors on the design of their games. The winning concept will then be developed into a game for schools to test in their classrooms.
The project is organised by S4SF Slovakia. We’re happy to support it as part of lorAI.
