Research areas: NLP, ML, LLMs, MAS, CV, MM (Natural language processing, machine learning, large language models, Multi-agentic systems, computer vision, multimodal models)

Position: Researcher

Sebastian is a KInIT partner. His current research activities are focusing on NLP, multi-agentic systems, fake news and anomaly detection in social and web media with the use of the state-of-the-art text and multimodal LLMs, on computer vision, and modern computational platforms, mainly based on GPU cards.

He is fascinated about GPU and AI technology. In 2011 he applied for the CUDA Teaching Center title and it was successful, his university obtained the CTC title (as the first university in Poland). Since 2018 he is the Deep Learning Institute (DLI) University Ambassador (second in Poland) and qualified, certified by the NVIDIA instructor of “Building Transformer Based Natural Language Processing Applications” and “Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision” courses. In October 2018 he was presenting at the Leading AI & Deep Learning Conference, the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) Europe in Munich, where he showed his work entitled “Visual and Gesture Controllable Electromechanical System”.

He has participated in 15 national and international research projects, including the FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe and COST actions. He repeatedly served as a reviewer to scientific journals and international conferences.
