Martin Výboh

Position: Research Engineer

Martin is a research engineer with a focus on time-series forecasting, prediction, optimization, and dimensionality reduction techniques. He started working at KInIT in 2023 as a research intern. Being a part of the Green and Secure Environment team, he applies his knowledge in a variety of domains such as weather nowcasting or electricity market forecasting and analysis. He graduated with honors in probability and mathematical statistics in 2024 and obtained the Dean’s Award for excellent academic performance at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, Comenius University in Bratislava. In his master’s thesis, he worked on visualizing correlated data by using dimensionality reduction techniques and nature-inspired optimization methods.
