Lucia is actively engaged in cybersecurity and the practical application of artificial intelligence systems across various fields. Her work addresses the connections between the political, security, and human rights dimensions of cybersecurity and modern technologies. She is particularly focused on understanding the societal impact of technology, with a strong commitment to protecting human dignity.
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Digital, New Technologies, and Public Policy at Sciences Po in Paris, Lucia is dedicated to promoting the ethical deployment of artificial intelligence to ensure the protection of individual rights. Lucia is passionate about fostering greater diversity in the tech industry, advocating for inclusive approaches that ensure technology development reflects the needs of all communities. She believes ethical AI practices, grounded in fairness and accountability, are essential for shaping a future where technology benefits everyone equitably.
Her professional experience includes working as a journalist for Živé.sk, contributing analyses to the security think tank Adapt Institute and leading initiatives such as the Youth Ambassador Program at Women4Cyber Slovakia. She also leads the AI Assessment Project for the German organization Responsible Technology Hub.
