Research Group

Jakub Betinský has a diverse academic background, beginning with political science at the University of Bologna before shifting to philosophy. He holds two master’s degrees from KU Leuven and has studied in the United States. Currently completing his PhD at Durham University, his research focuses on metaethics, natural liberalism, and the works of G.E.M. Anscombe and Bernard Williams. He teaches medical ethics at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, and is a member of the Department of Philosophy at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. For over five years, he has popularised philosophy through his podcasts – „Pravidelná dávka and Kvantum ideí“.
