We are looking for excellent post-doctoral researchers, who are preparing the MSCA project proposal, or are looking for a Host institution. We support Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow candidates both in the application process and in managing the grant.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are European Union’s flagship funding programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training of researchers. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship aims at promoting excellent research across borders. The MSCA grants support a new generation of researchers. The funding boosts scientific excellence and enhances researchers’ career prospects through developing their skills in creativity and innovation.
In case you choose KInIT as your Host institution and your project is not selected for funding by the European Commission, we offer you an alternative funding under the Slovak grant schemes.
You will be eligible for the alternative funding if the European Commission awards you with the evaluation of 70% or higher (according to historical data, this was achieved by up to 80% of applicants).

For the grant applicant candidate we will provide support in administrative and financial issues of the application, a Host Support Letter. We will also provide support in the proposal writing stage, to maximize the potential of the successful application.
We will offer a capacity of our well established research team (ask for template-related feedback). We will provide support for the project management covered by our Project office. Our institute offers attractive career development opportunities.
The objective of Postdoctoral Fellowships (PFs) is to support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research. The PFs action targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills and develop their careers. PFs help researchers gain experience in other countries, disciplines and non-academic sectors.
MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships will be open to excellent researchers of any nationality.
The scheme also encourages researchers to work on research and innovation projects in the non-academic sector. The programme is open to researchers wishing to reintegrate in Europe, as well as to researchers with high potential who are seeking to restart their careers in research.

They are open to researchers moving within Europe or coming to Europe from another part of the world to pursue their research career. These fellowships take place in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country and can last between 1 and 2 years. Researchers of any nationality can apply.

Duration: between 2 and 3 years
Deadline: 13 September 2023, 11 September 2024
They fund the mobility of researchers outside Europe. The fellowship lasts between 2 to 3 years, of which the first 1 to 2 years will be spent in a non-associated Third Country, followed by a mandatory return phase of 1 year to an organisation based in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country. Only nationals or long-term residents of the EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries can apply.
