Sara has an academic background in social sciences, holding a master’s degree in Cyber Policy from Tel Aviv University and a degree in Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Her thesis explored the social impact of deepfakes in the European context, particularly their conceptualization within the recent EU AI act. Sara’s research interests lie at the intersection of law, technology, and ethics, focusing on the deployment of biometric technologies in public spaces, the ethical implications of deepfakes, combatting disinformation, and the interplay between emerging cyber technologies and national security.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Sara enjoys traveling, cooking with friends, and making pottery.
