Alexander is a researcher who studied business informatics, where he did his bachelor’s and master’s thesis focusing on data processing at the network’s edge. He is currently going to complete his PhD in Computer Science at the Technical University of Košice, where he is working on “Machine Learning for Edge Computing”. Within this topic, he specializes in federated learning and deep learning that can be implemented on edge-constrained devices. During his PhD studies, Alexander led two projects in which he was the principal investigator and the researcher responsible for the technical solutions. These projects primarily focused on artificial intelligence and covered various areas, including images, video, and time series data processing. He had the opportunity to work as a full-stack developer on a project that focused on creating a digital twin of Slovakia and digitizing processes for the building authority.
