Slovak Tech Conference 2026: Connecting Slovak Innovation with Silicon Valley

In March 2026, the Slovak Tech Conference brought together Slovak founders, researchers, investors, and technology leaders in San Francisco to strengthen connections between Slovakia’s innovation ecosystem and Silicon Valley. Co-organized by KInIT, Slovak PRO, and partner organizations, the conference created a platform for sharing expertise, building new partnerships, and showcasing the potential of Slovak talent on the global stage.

The program featured inspiring talks on artificial intelligence, technology entrepreneurship, product development, and investment. Highlights included Bob Lesko’s keynote on building AI infrastructure from Slovakia for the global market, Matej Novak’s insights from Y Combinator, and Michal Vasko’s perspective on designing AI-powered products used by billions of people. The conference also showcased the winners of the Slovak Startup Awards, demonstrating the diversity and quality of innovation emerging from Slovakia.

Beyond the stage, the event offered valuable networking opportunities that connected entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and members of the Slovak diaspora. Hosted in the heart of Silicon Valley, it strengthened ties between Slovak professionals working in the United States and Slovakia’s research and innovation ecosystem, while highlighting the important role of the diaspora in advancing innovation, talent development, and international collaboration.
