Quo vadis slovaks.ai? Expert Forum Opened a Discussion on the Future of the Slovak AI Community

On 12 June 2026, the online expert forum Quo vadis slovaks.ai? reviewed the results achieved so far within the slovaks.ai project and opened a discussion on its future direction. The meeting brought together experts working in Slovakia and abroad and created a space for exploring ways to further develop the Slovak AI community and strengthen cooperation in research, education, and innovation.

The discussion focused on the exchange of experience between the Slovak AI diaspora and domestic experts. Participants talked about more effective networking among professionals, the transfer of know-how, talent development, and support for research collaboration. They also identified areas in which the Slovak AI community can contribute most to the development of innovation and Slovakia’s competitiveness.

The forum also included a debate on the future of the slovaks.ai initiative. Participants formulated recommendations for future activities, discussed suitable formats of cooperation, and emphasized the need for more systematic connections between experts at home and abroad. The online format made it possible to involve experts from several countries, brought new insights from the international environment, and strengthened existing partnerships while creating space for new collaborations.
