You will lead innovation projects of different sizes, transform ideas into reality, and shape the future of AI applications.
Your key responsibilities – What you’ll do
- Lead & Deliver. Take ownership of small to medium-scale innovation projects, defining realistic scopes with industrial partners, setting expectations, and developing state-of-the-art ML solutions.
- Innovate & Develop. Analyze research and industry challenges and requirements, design and develop proof-of-concept models, prototypes and AI systems, or contribute to top-tier research publications.
- Share Knowledge. Engage with the AI/ML community, mentor colleagues, and collaborate across teams to accelerate research impact. Participate and present at various events to exchange experiences with other top innovators in Slovakia and abroad.
- (Optional) Research and Development Infrastructure. Set up, develop, improve and support cloud and on-premises infrastructure (AWS, Azure, HPC clusters) for executing different types of experiments, including training and deployment of large ML models.
What We’re Looking For – Personal Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an AI/ML Engineer (or similar). Good coverage of AI/ML topics, methods, models and applications.
- Familiarity with common software and system design patterns and infrastructure, including APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions, data structures, etc.
- Hands-on experience with tools commonly used in ML research, development and MLOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset to tackle complex challenges.
- Experience in leading technical projects and teams (a plus).
- Familiarity with data collection and preprocessing methodologies (a plus).
- Good communication skills to collaborate with industry partners and researchers.
- Curiosity & Continuous Learning Mindset. Stay ahead in AI/ML advancements and contribute to knowledge-sharing through seminars, practical workshops or lectures both internally and in the community.
- Fluency in English.

Salary
The offered salary is from 3 000 € gross. The final offer strongly depends on the seniority and experience of a successful candidate.
